The Discovery Zone:

Where summer fun is natural!

Week 3:  July 6 - July 9*

*There will be a discounted price due to the shortened week

Join us this summer for a week of unique programs for children:

Entering Pre-K through 7th grade!*

We will do our very best to make our groups reflective of age as much as possible, but because of expected restrictions, wider than expected age ranges within groups should be expected this summer. Siblings, regardless of age range, will be in the same group.*

*Restrictions based on last summer and may be updated by state later this spring.

Our Discovering Summer program will run from 9AM until 12PM each day, and will include adventures and investigations in archaeology, rocks, bugs, and vernal pool critters, in addition to games, hikes, stories, crafts, live animals, and so much more!

Half the day, TWICE THE FUN!

What is new to ensure everyone's safety?*

-Fewer children will be allowed to enroll each week. There will be three groups of no more than 10-14 per group. These groups will remain separate from each other at all times for the week. Siblings, regardless of age range, will be in the same group.

-All children's temperatures will be taken by our staff prior to each session. If a child registers a temperature above 100, they will not be allowed into the session that day nor will they be able to return until they are fever free without medicine for 72 hours.

-Children exhibiting other symptoms such as cough, runny nose, rash, etc. may be denied entrance for the safety of other campers and staff, or will need to be picked up if symptoms arise once the session has begun.

-Hand washing prior to and after the session, bathroom break and snack.

-If masks are required by the State of CT Office of Early Childhood/Youth Camps Division when their summer camp requirements come out later this spring, we will follow their directive. (If you know you do not want your child wearing a mask under any circumstance, please do not sign up for this program, as we may still choose to require the use of masks.)

-Please read additional information in our waiver document prior to registering.

*Restrictions based on last summer and may be updated by state later this spring.
