What may look like a calm little pond during the day comes alive at night as the creatures that inhabit the vernal pools come out to hunt for food, migrate to a new home, or seek a mate.
Join Hank Gruner, formerly Vice President of Programs at the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford and a state expert in biology and herpetology for a fun, hands-on nighttime Vernal Pool Investigation at the Discovery Zone at Webb Mountain.
Appropriate for students entering 2nd grade through high school. $12 for first participant and $10 for each additional participant. Registration limited to 20 participants per session.
